Law360, New York (September 15, 2011, 4:32 PM ET) -- Best Buy Stores LP and Dell Inc. said Thursday that they had reached a confidential deal to settle a class action in Missouri federal court alleging that advertisements overstated a laptop's battery life.
With notice that a settlement had been reached, U.S. District Court Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. ordered that the case will be dismissed when counsel file a finalized agreement and a motion to dismiss the suit.
